I don't really give a fuck if You-know-who-you-are is reading this or not, but I know at least Team Rocket's not stupid to pull anything during grad or prom. You know why? Because in about the last month or so, the school's fended off an infestation of demon birds, and an invasion force. What do you think think would happen if they trash a party with this entire fighting school in one room? Especially a party everyone's been looking forward to for weeks?

Yeah, they'd get their sorry asses handed t'them by the entire faculty and a lotta pissed off students.

And now that we don't have classes and finals anymore? Yeah, damn straight Team Rocket better watch their shit if they feel like making a comeback. They're the ones oughta be afraid of us.

So anyway. Congrats to everyone who's graduatin' and shit. How many've you are there, anyway? Is anyone sticking around t'take college credits, or are you all goin' off and getting jobs?

That's tricky... I know there's no way Archer would ever give up on rebuilding Team Rocket, but he tried so hard to avoid telling me anything. I don't think he'd stay in the city if he did fight with Giovanni, though. He wasn't exactly social, so I'm not sure if he made any friends worth staying for.

You can do it, Vinnie, you're really smart! I mean, think about it. You never went to school in your whole entire life, and you weren't even a senior for a whole entire year, but here you are, graduating the hardest year of high school! I bet you'll pick up university stuff just as easy, especially if it's all about stuff you're good at.

I guess I just never really grew up with thinking school's that big a deal. It's not something wild Pokemon ever bother with, y'know?

I'm keeping Janus out of his ball as often as I can, and my radio's on FDC stations. I know it sounds funny, but if something happens, Janus can get me there fastest.

I can see the appeal of school though, even for a Pokemon. I mean sure, that human idea of having you all set for the future isn't there, but still. You get stronger, you get smarter. You meet a lot of new people that you wouldn't normally be around, and you've got older people t'mentor and support you. It feels safe. Or at least, it oughta feel safe.

Well, they say that Mewtwo was made from Mew's DNA... maybe someday science will be smart enough to make flying Venuszards or something?

Nah, Max loves his tank more than anything else. If anything he'd be riding in one of those.

If we had a way of predicting where they'd hit next, that'd... be too complicated for us to figure out, though. I don't think a single Psychic Type would be powerful enough to sense it, and the god types probably aren't allowed to tell anyone either.

It's pretty big news for Pokemon. But I don't blame'em for just wanting to enjoy prom right now. They deserve it. Having everyone scared is exactly what Team Rocket wants.

I think maybe... they've just gotten so tired from being scared that they just don't wanna do it anymore? I mean... I'm not a Pokemon, so I bet I don't know it as well as you would, but before I was old enough to be a trainer... it was a scary time to be a Pokemon! Trainers had theirs stolen away, wild ones got killed or hurt for money...

And, I mean, even after you come here. It's supposed to be a big place of opportunity, right? You guys can turn into humans and get an education and jobs and stuff. But then after what happened in December, and now with this...

I can't say for sure, but that's possible too. There's always gonna be things t'be afraid of. Some things more than others. Everyone got through December together, and a lot've folk stepped up to help each other. It was scary, yeah, but we can either stay scared all our lives, or we can get stronger from it.

The way I figure... once you've already gone through something terrifying and come out okay, everything else just doesn't seem as scary anymore. At least, that's how I'm working through it.
