[Vinnie had been spending a lot of time on his own outside, watching the flower buds peek through the snow. Had he been actively avoiding certain people? Hell yes. But he was privately trying to console himself with the slow return of spring.

It was getting warmer. Greener. All his hopes for the future lay in the coming month.

All are welcome to bug him as he mopes in the melting snow.]

I wanna get back into training again. At least doing something. I'm sick of waiting around and feeling like this. I've been getting into fights anyway, so... I should've told you about those.

I know I've been pulling stupid shit lately. You can lay it on me for that.

There's a girl that likes me. I don't know what the fuck t'do.

So if you guys have any ideas on how I should stop fucking up my life, I'm all ears.

[Just another reminder of the godly burden she had to bear. It was impossible for Vinnie to fully understand, but she had all of his respect and sympathy for the strength that was expected of the god.

At the very least, he could smile and support her.]

[Maybe it was a bit of an impulse, but... without another word, leaned over and took Dana in his arms with a hug.

She needed one. And he had to admit, he needed one as well.]

[It came with perks. If she ever needed some cash, she'd just get this weeks lottery numbers, so... Whatever.

Even the god wasn't expecting this to happen. The sudden embrace did catch her off-guard, but she was very welcome to the fact that he did do such a thing.

Upon instinct, she closed their hug by sliding her arms around his mid-section. She really did need it, especially from him.]

[With a soft sigh, he buried his face against the slope of her collar, trying to avoid getting his eyes poked out by her metal headpiece. With the two of them sitting, the height difference was helpfully reduced.

Instinctively, he nuzzled her, imparting his scent. It was an aroma that Venusaurs normally gave off to calm emotions - so his natural response was to leave some with her to carry. Maybe it didn't quite translate from giant toad to human, but the effect was still the same.]

[Being this close to him made her feel so much better. It was already doing it's part to help calm herself down. Even if it was a small effect, she felt... privileged? Yes, privileged, to be given this. Sort of wishing that she, herself, was able to do something like this regarding him. ALl that she could do was to carefully nuzzle back.

Dana was also somewhat happy that they were this close to each other, she was now truthfully blushing quite visibly right now. and the initial reaction of him noticing it would have made her even more flushed than she would have liked. For now, she enjoyed this moment.]
