[Vinnie had been spending a lot of time on his own outside, watching the flower buds peek through the snow. Had he been actively avoiding certain people? Hell yes. But he was privately trying to console himself with the slow return of spring.

It was getting warmer. Greener. All his hopes for the future lay in the coming month.

I wanna get back into training again. At least doing something. I'm sick of waiting around and feeling like this. I've been getting into fights anyway, so... I should've told you about those.

[Seeing the hat come off was a bit of a sobering moment. Vinnie still felt a bit flustered in his efforts to explain things, but really, he was in the wrong here. He was the one starting fights, of course Red would be upset.]

And 'parently Dana's in love with me so if I'm suddenly dead that might be why.

I'm not saying you have to do nothing, but...

[He was totally going to try and fix his awkward grammar but then Vinnie said "Dana's in love with me" and his brain kind of came to a screeching halt.]

Yeah. I have no idea how it happened, but she let that out of the bag after Valentine's. Trying to put off talking to her right now.
