They're a criminal organization that used t'be based in Kanto, where some've the Pokemon students are from. There's pretty much nothing they didn't do. Theft, exploitation, enslaving Pokemon and using'em for experiments... pretty much tried t'take over the world. Lot've people got hurt, or killed cuz've them.

They disbanded years ago, but there're still pockets around, wanting t'make a comeback. Their boss never faced justice either - he ran, and now he's teaching at the school.
